Indian woman reached Pakistan to marry her love
An Indian woman, Ms. Anju, 35, from the Kailor region of Uttar Pradesh, India, has travelled to Pakistan’s Malakand district in KPK, to meet her Facebook friend Nasrullah.
As per reliable sources, the woman holds valid travel documents to visit the village of Kulsho in the Upper Dir district, Nasrullah’s hometown.
Ms. Anju, born on December 25, 1988, briefly expressed her affection for Nasrullah to local journalists in Dir Khas on Sunday.
Their initial connection occurred through Facebook, leading their friendship to deepen into a profound love. This prompted her decision to embark on a journey from her country to Pakistan. Anju successfully applied for a visit visa and arrived at her desired destination.
Official sources confirm that both Nasrullah and Anju have informed the police about their love for each other and their intention to marry. Anju, belonging to the Christian faith, is mentioned to be a divorced. This marks her maiden visit to Pakistan, and she reached Rawalpindi before Nasrullah escorted her to Dir Upper on July 22.
According to an official document from the Ministry of Interior, sent to Pakistan’s High Commission in Delhi, it has been decided to grant a 30-day visa to Indian national Ms. Anju, exclusively valid for Dir Upper.
A senior police official from the region confirmed that the travel documents of the Indian lady have been thoroughly checked and found to be in order. She has been granted permission to stay with Nasrullah, who has been entrusted with her care.
Upper Dir district police officer Mushtaq Khan assured journalists that her visa is legitimate, allowing her to stay in the region for a month.
